Website Design

I am a huge fan of simple, beautiful websites. While I aim to wow your audience with eye-catching design, my primary goal when building a website is to attract your ideal client and make sure the site is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

I specialize in Squarespace websites because they are design driven, user-friendly, and performance focused. Squarespace is an all-in-one website platform with hosting, domains, eCommerce, galleries, and 24/7 support. You’ll never have to update software, plugins, widgets, or worry about security issues. The back end of the site is easy to navigate and I feel confident handing a site over to a client to maintain on their own. I'm also available for ongoing support if you’d rather not update the site on your own. Want to see why I switched from Wordpress to Squarespace? Check out my top 5 reasons here.

The following items aren't included, but if you need photography, copywriting or videography for your website, I have put together some recommendations which I’d be happy to share with you:

  • SEO: While I set you up with the basics, I don’t promise rankings and don’t do any keyword research. If you want to see results then you'll need a strategy to rank and an expert to navigate the complex system of SEO. Check out my blog explaining the basics of SEO and an interview with an expert.

  • Writing: If you want to knock the socks off your website visitors, hiring a copywriter can help tell your story and clearly explain your services to your ideal audience. If you want some tips on how to write your own copy, check out this guest blog by Anna Laman.

  • Photography/Videography: Photos and videos play a huge part in the success of a website. If you want to stand out from the crowd then you’re going to want to show your audience the authentic you. Check out my blog where I interview Chelsea Lane Photography all about working with a professional photographer.
