Website Design

I love simple, beautiful websites. While I aim to wow your audience with eye-catching design, my primary goal when building a website is to attract your ideal client and make sure the site is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

I specialize in Squarespace websites because they are design driven, user-friendly, and performance focused. Squarespace is an all-in-one website platform so you’ll never have to update software, plugins, or widgets. The back end of the site is easy to navigate and I feel confident handing a site over to a client to maintain on their own. I'm also available for ongoing support if you need my help updating the website going forward.

FAQs

  • In the past, yes, but now I’m only working on ecommerce sites for select clients and specific instances. While I’m a big Squarespace fan, I haven’t been very happy with their updates (or lack of updates) in that area. I personally think Shopify is the way to go when it comes to online stores.

  • Due to the process and timelines I’ve created for my website clients, I’m only able to work on brand new websites or full redesigns. If I designed your website and you need further updates, we can handle that through my Ongoing Support services.

  • No, I only work on the Squarespace platform. If I feel like Squarespace isn’t a good fit for you and your business, I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction!

  • Photos and videos play a huge part in the success of a website. If you want to stand out from the crowd then you’re going to want to invest in imagery. I highly recommend hiring a professional photographer, but if that’s not in your budget, then we can look into stock photography options.

  • While I can provide a road map / guide for what type of copy I’m looking for, I’m not a writer. I can share some recommendations for writers or you can provide the text we’ll use for the website.

  • Short answer: no. I like to say that I make my websites “Google Friendly”. I add title tags, page descriptions, and image alt tags. While I set you up with the basics, I don’t promise rankings and don’t do any keyword research. If you want to see results then you'll need a strategy to rank and an expert to navigate the complex system of SEO.

  • While I prefer to work with local clients, I’ve had the pleasure to work with some fantastic clients that aren’t located here. I’m always happy to chat and see if we’ll be a good fit for each other.

Ongoing Support

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is establishing relationships with my clients and working with them on an ongoing basis. After a website or logo project is complete, you’ll have access to my ongoing support packages where I can continue building out and updating your website. I can add new pages, update images on your site, design business cards, labels or stickers. When you become an Ongoing Client, you’ll receive special discounts and priority.
